He has an extensive experience of more than 1000 Living donor and Cadaveric donor liver transplants, Pancreas transplant, Kidney transplant and complex hepatobiliary surgeries in both adults & children.
His team is Central India’s only multi-organ transplant team with 24 x 7 availability, expertise and specialized training. This team is credited with performing the first Deceased donor liver transplant (DDLT), first living donor liver transplant (LDLT) as well as the first combined liver-kidney transplant (CKLT) in Central India. Within just one year of the start, his team has successfully performed more than 25 liver transplants with a success rate of around 95%; this is comparable to some of the major high-volume transplant centers in India & abroad.
